This position is designated as Emergency-Essential (E-E). In the event of a crisis situation, incumbent will be subject to deployment on a TDY basis to overseas duty location(s) to perform assigned duties particular to the deployment. Failure to deploy when required and/or meet the medical requirements of deployment status may result in separation from Federal Service. To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized Experience required:
To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-12. Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience providing post award contract administration for complex contracts types, negotiating final overhead rates, contractor business system determinations, and resolving contract payment issues; experience using cost and pricing analysis techniques to evaluate previous cost history, actual expenditures, and established rates to determine a negotiation position; and experience evaluating contractor's accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with cost accounting standards. Education cannot be substituted for experience. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent. Time in Grade for the GS-13 is 52 weeks at the next lower grade level or equivalent (GS-12). Applicants must meet basic eligibility requirements such as minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
